If your venue collects food waste, please also provide food waste bins in dressing rooms.<\/p>\n \n \n \u2022 Comply with <\/b>Theatre Green Book: Sustainable Operations.<\/p>\n All heating and cooling to be controlled by timers, or ensure operational procedures in place to avoid energy wastage.<\/p>\n <\/i><\/p>\n \u2022 Allow and assist us with monitoring the [insert \u2018electricity\/gas\/generator fuel\/etc.\u2019<\/i>] usage of the show.<\/p>\n \n \u2022 Minimise use of backstage lighting, whilst following Health & Safety guidelines.<\/p>\n <\/i><\/p>\n \n \u2022 Provide drinking water taps\/water dispensers, and no single use plastic cups.<\/p>\n \n \u2022 Provide reusable\/washable crockery (plates, cutlery, etc).<\/p>\n \n \u2022 If you are providing food, please:\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2022 Always offer vegetarian and vegan options.<\/p>\n \u2022 Only provide food and drinks in the quantities requested.<\/p>\n \u2022 Only chill items that need to be kept cold, or that we have requested to be chilled.<\/p>\n \u2022 Give preference to products with environmental credentials, e.g. organic, seasonal, Fairtrade, locally sourced, plastic-free packaging, etc.<\/p>\n \u2022 Provide condiment bottles\/dispensers, instead of single-use sachets.<\/p>\n \u2022 Donate or give away any unused food and drinks. If this is not possible, please compost them.<\/p>\n \n \n \u2022 When booking accommodation for us, please choose hotels near the venue where possible.<\/p>\n \n \u2022 Give preference to hotels with environmental credentials, such as Green Tourism, EU Ecolabel or Green Globe. Please contact us if you are unsure what to book.<\/p>\n \n \u2022 Share links to bike\/scooter rental options or shuttle buses for our staff to use whilst at the venue.<\/p>\n \n \u2022 Please book any taxis for us using a company with electric vehicles.
