• Can you have conversations with your team about business travel, especially flights, and how you can reduce them? Perhaps you can implement a flight policy. You can see an example of a Sustainable Travel Policy created by Imperial College for their staff here.

Audience Travel

• If you are a remote venue, or don’t have good public transport nearby, can you create a shuttle bus or car sharing service?
• Consider working with a platform like You.Smart.Thing to help your audiences make informed decisions about how to travel to your venue in the least climate carbon impactful way. You can see a case study of their work here.

Deliveries

• Be wary of using business acounts for deliveries, or services that offer same- or next-day delivery, as these often result in delivery companies making journeys without full vans.
• Can you speak to local suppliers and your internal team about limiting the number of deliveries?
