Environmental Policies and Action Plans
One of the key things to consider early on in your sustainability journey, is creating an Environmental Policy and Action Plan. These are documents which lay out what your aims and targets are to make your work or organisation greener.
Usually Environmental Policies are created to be public facing, but can also be useful for engaging colleagues in the process. An Action Plan tends to be internal and, whether you work for a large or small organisation, is a more detailed set of targets. The Theatre Green Book trackers can be used to create Action Plans, or you can use them as a starting point, and expand on them. There may be quite a lot of overlap between the Environmental Policy and the Action Plan.
