If you have already been using the Theatre Green Book for a while and have already completed Basic and/or Intermediate level, please email admin@staging.theatregreenbook.nl and we will update your account.
Preliminary is the starting point, and your commitment to begin making your practice more sustainable.
The first steps are:
- Commit to becoming a sustainable theatre-maker
- Form a Green Team in your organisation
- Set a timeline to reach the first step, Basic
Remember, if one of the areas does not apply to you, you do not need to complete a checklist for it (eg, if you run a theatre but don’t make your own productions, or are a production company with no building).
Key tools:
- Download the Theatre Green Book below.
- Look at the additional toolkits and case studies on the website for more guidance and inspiration.
Once you are ready and have made your plans, upload the Preliminary checklist. Once this has been confirmed by our team you will be able to download a logo you can use on your website and to share with internal and external communications.
One of the team will then update your account so that you can get to Basic and find further details there.

Download the preliminary checklist using the link above, once you’ve completed it upload it using the form below. Once our team has verified it you will be upgraded to the next our Basic tier and will receive a link to download your certificate.
